Importance of parent teaching meeting

Parent-teacher communication is critical and can have a significant impact on a student's success. Parent-teacher conferences allow teachers to learn more about their kids, allowing them to better guide them. Teachers learn about the interests and learning styles of their students. We all want our children to achieve their full potential, but this requires active participation on both sides.

Here are some of the reasons why parent-teacher conferences are beneficial:

- It improves academic performance in the classroom.

- Communicating with parents about their children's school behaviour allows teachers to better understand why pupils act or misbehave in various situations and how to respond correctly.

- It has the potential to avoid behavioural and academic issues.

- Children feel more at ease and improve when they witness their parents connect with teachers.

- It can also reduce a teacher's workload.

- PTMs also aid in the development of healthy relationships between teachers and students.
