TIPS TO CHOOSE THE BEST ICSE SCHOOLS IN DEHRADUN UTTARAKHAND

Every parent today wants the best for their kids. The quality of education their kids get is one thing that parents are most concerned about these days as they should be. Therefore, the selection of schools has become very important.

It can be a very difficult task for parents to select a reputed school for their kids that also suits their needs and provides quality education. Along with that, they have to consider other factors as well such as the safety of the kids, the environment of the school, the educational boards that the school is affiliated with and the exposure it gives to the students.

Thus, to help parents in narrowing down the best ICSE schools in Dehradun for their children, we have listed some tips below.

1. The school's academic and educational curriculum

Given that you are sending your child to school to learn, the first thing you should look at is the educational board to which the school is affiliated and the quality of instruction it offers. You can start the admissions process if the institution has a well-known reputation for producing academic beasts. In fact, the ICSE schools in Dehradun, Uttarakhand would be the best pick if you are very particular about the academic growth of your child.

2. The pupil-to-teacher ratio

Enrolling your child in a school that upholds a decent student-teacher ratio is preferable. You can take a school into consideration if it has a class size of 22–25 pupils with one teacher.

3- Sports and extracurricular facilities

Co-curricular pursuits are vital to the formation of a well-rounded personality. Consider a school's extracurricular activities and the facilities it provides students when choosing a school. Before enrolling your child, you can plan a visit to the school to see the sports facilities as well as the departments for the arts as well as other cultural and social activities. It will help you understand how much value a school places on extracurricular activities.

4- The fee structure

With increasing attention to the quality of education, schools are appointing highly qualified educators who charge more. The schools also invest more in gathering modern resources to assist students in learning, so the fees of the schools in Dehradun have hiked. Thus, you must also check your budget while selecting a school.

5- Transportation services

You should check the school's security protocols and transportation service because your child will be spending a lot of time at school.  To know more about the transportation services offered by the school, speak with the parents of other students who have already enrolled because they will be able to present you with the reality.

6. Reviews and ratings

Last but not least, this is another important factor to consider while selecting a school for your child. These days, people write honest reviews and share their ratings online, which provide valuable insight and their actual experiences with the school administration. Check the reviews, and if it has the happiest parents, take the plunge.

We sincerely hope that our advice made sense and will assist you in choosing the ideal school where your kids can study and grow.  The above-mentioned points should be available in the school if you want to ensure that your child is in a safe atmosphere as well as growing brilliantly.

One such top ICSE school in Dehradun is The Presidency International School which is dedicated to creating a bright future for students and offers modern facilities to students for their holistic development. Moreover, the school also offers all the services and facilities to students mentioned above. They have a robust reputation for their academic curriculum and the teachers are par excellence in educating young students and shaping them into great learners.

Importance and History of Children’s day Celebration

Across the country, Children's Day is celebrated on the 14th of November. This day also marks the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of independent India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. He was also called Chacha Nehru by children and he was very fond of them, thus, after his death, his birthday was declared as Children's Day.

He always treated every child from any religion, caste, or colour equally. He believed that every child is unique and talented and called them 'The Future of Nation'.

He also advocated and strongly supported education for all children as he believed that all children must get educated and have a chance to create a prosperous life.

Chacha Nehru invested his time in understanding the perspective of kids from which we all can learn because we tend to ignore our children due to our hectic schedules. He also supported children's rights and fought against social evils such as child abuse. His love and compassion toward children made him loved by all.

He also formulated changes in the education system of the country to encourage more people to send their kids to school. He firmly believed that every child was capable of something, therefore, he opened many schools and institutes to offer children a plethora of options for sharpening their skills and knowledge.

He established some of the most prominent institutions in India such as IITs, IIMs and AIIMS where students receive world-class knowledge. They are now run by the government of India and ensure that all talented students receive the much-needed support they deserve.

Apart from this, the main aim of celebrating children's Day is to remind everyone that we must keep working towards saving the children of our country from social evils such as child abuse. It is also a reminder to put in constant efforts in providing all children with basic amenities such as education, shelter, food and clothes irrespective of their religion, caste, creed, race and colour.

To commemorate the day, institutions related to children and schools organize events where students are gifted toys, candies and other things they like to make them feel special. This day is not observed as a national holiday instead students are invited to the school for celebrations.

In schools, typically, Children's Day begins with a special assembly and speeches highlighting the importance of the day and remembering Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru.

This is then followed by fun and interesting activities such as dancing, singing and other creative activities. Some schools also conduct award ceremonies to honour the students who perform impeccably throughout the year. Lastly, sweets or snacks are distributed to wrap up the day.
